A little medicinal on the nose with floral, citrus notes. Sweet on the tongue, again with some citrus; smooth overall, but a little sharp edge to teh whisky. An easy to appreciate dram with some sophistication to it.

Teacher's Highland Cream

Teacher's Highland Cream, 40% abv

Starts with a light floral nose - very pleasant; then moves into rough and tangy territory - hard to get to the fruit which seems to be hiding behind the rough exterior (where is the delightful Ardmore?); tangy throughout. Maybe I was in a bad mood, although I don't think so. This has moved in my opinion from a pleasant dram to a barely okay and almost "desperation" dram.
