Deep amber in colour - from the Oloroso sherry casks, no doubt. This is a powerful dram at 59.7% abv; need to approach it slowly. A rich waft of spices greets you with waves of toffee and a hint of mint on the nose. The palate is treated to rose petals, spices, particularly cardamom. The mouthfeel is rich, heavy with a slight tang to it. Hints of wintergreen were found on a long finish.
